吉備地方文化研究所とは？
What is Research Institute of Kibi Region Culture？
1984(昭59)年4月に就実女子大学の附属研究機関として発足。設置目的は、「広く岡山県地方文化に関する研究を行い、地域文化の発展に寄与すること」(「就実大学吉備地方文化研究所規程」第2条)である。2003(平成15)年4月、校名変更に伴い、就実大学附属研究機関となる。
In 1984, Research Institute of Kibi Region Culture was established as one of the organizations in Shujitsu womens’ university.
The art.２ of the regulation of Institute says “Our institute studies on regions and cultures in Okayama prefecture and distributes for the development of Okayama regional culture.” In 2003, Shujitsu womens’ university became “Shujitsu university”, so the institute came to belong to the university.
“Kibi” is another name of Okayama prefecture in Ancient time.
